WELCOME TO WEC 2022-2023

Welcome to the Western Equestrian Club!

We are so excited to welcome all the new members and welcome back all of our previous members. As a club, we aspire to share our love and passion for horses, improve our skills, and make lasting friendships. We are proud to offer many activities that can further relationships, love of horses, and education.

Throughout the year we offer:

• OCEA Team - Ontario Collegiate Equestrian Association, a competitive team that competes on the west zone against other college and university teams in the style of equitation. See the OCEA team page for further details!

• Lesson Program - We have a number of great local barns that allow our members to learn and improve their riding skills. Riders of all levels are accepted, from beginners all the way up to advanced riders.

• Volunteer Opportunities - Programs in the equestrian community are always looking for extra hands. These volunteer opportunities are a great way to spend more time with horses, learn, and make friends.

• Club Events and Socials - Our exec team, specifically our VP events, work very hard to plan fun events so that members get a chance to meet new people and have fun. For many of our members, this is where they've met their best friends and bond with their teammates
