Sydney Burns
President
Hi! My name is Sydney Burns and I am going into my third year of philosophy and entrepreneurship. I have been riding since I can remember and primarily focus on the jumpers, but also compete in western performance/speed as well as roping and cow work. I have spent a large amount of my riding career learning how to develop young/green horses and catch riding, which I find very rewarding. I am so excited to be serving as president this year and can't wait to meet everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Burton and I am going into my fifth year at King's in the early childhood education program. I have been riding since I could walk, and found my main passion in the equitation and jumper ring. This is my second year on the Western OCEA Team and I am so excited for the upcoming shows and amazing events we have planned!

Hey everyone! Welcome to the Western Eq Club! I'm Tessa and I've been with the club for the past three years! I'm going into my fourth year taking business at Ivey. One of my favourite things about this club is getting to meet some awesome people. I am super excited to meet all the new people and see everyone again! Tatum Horan

Hey everyone! My name is Tatum and I'm going into my fourth year at the Ivey Business School. I have competed on the A circuit in the pony jumpers, large pony's, Junior Hunters, Canadian National Derby's, Jump Canada Medal, OHJA Medal, CET Medal, and 1.20m classes. My horse Cassidor di Corvo and I were Junior Hunter Canadian Champions at the Royal Winter Fair in 2022, where I was named High Point Junior Rider. I have been apart of the Western Equestrian Club and the OCEA Western Equestrian Team since my first year. I am so excited for the upcoming year - please feel free to reach out :)

Hi! My name is Liah and I am so excited to be the OCEA co-captain and VP Lessons this year! I've been riding for my whole life on the circuit in Alberta and have spent the past two years here at Western on the OCEA team. Looking forward to a great year and to meet everyone :)

Hi! I’m Lucy, going into my second year at Western studying International Relations with a minor in French. I’ve been riding for over 10 years and showing in the hunters for the past 5. I’m really excited for all the fun club events this year and can’t wait for a great season with the team!

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Miller-Whittall, I am going into my second year in BMOS. I have been riding and showing since I could walk! I have a passion for the hunters and derby's the most. Over the years, l've developed a deep love and respect for the sport, from the early mornings, long show days, and meeting the best people, l enjoy it all! This is now my second year on the team and I'm so excited to be a part of it again!
