The lesson form for the Fall 2020 lesson program is now available on the lesson page. The form is due September 30, 2020 at midnight, no exceptions.

Lessons are filled on a first come, first serve basis which means that filling out this form DOES NOT guarantee you a spot in the program. Inability to be placed in the lesson program is usually due to transportation issues and/or conflicting scheduling times.

Other information:

1. You MUST be a member of the Western Equestrian Club to participate in lessons. The membership fee for the full academic year (September to April) is $35 + tax. The fee can also be paid on a per semester basis at a cost of $25 + tax/semester. Memberships can be obtained through the following link: https://shop.westernmustangs.ca/Program/GetProducts?classification=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000026001

Please note that you will not be placed into a lesson group without conformation of the membership.

2. You MUST have an OE(F) membership to participate in the lesson program. This can be obtained through the following link: www.ontarioequestrian.ca. You may wait until you've been placed in a lesson to purchase this membership in the event that we cannot place you. If this is the case, please put "to be provided upon placement" when asked for your OE # in this form.

3. Lessons will run on a weekly and biweekly basis, with groups of 1 to 4 riders per lesson. Lessons will run from October 13th to December 4th and will not run over reading week (November 2nd to 8th). The cost per lesson is approximately $30 to $68 after tax depending on the barn and the number of riders in your group.

4. If you have a driver for your lesson, a carpool fee of $20 for biweekly lessons or $40 for weekly lessons will apply to cover gas for the driver. Each lesson rider will pay $5 per lesson/drive directly to the driver to comply with the carpool fee.

5. If we are unable to provide a driver for your lesson, your group may opt to split the cost of a taxi/Uber. The fare from our campus to our lesson barns is roughly $20 both ways, and can be split among your group members.

6. There will be NO MAKE-UP LESSONS for the Fall 2020 Lesson Program as lesson groups need to stay within their "bubble" due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
